June Luncheon Meeting

Ag Supply Chain and Challenges will be the topic for the Council’s June 16 monthly luncheon meeting. The panel discussion will be moderated by Tom Brand with NAFB and will feature experts from the meat, dairy, crop, and equipment sectors. This will be a substantial discussion given the scope of the topic and the caliber of the panelists.

Panelists include:

  • Meat sector - Jarrod Gillig, President, Cargill Protein North America

  • Dairy sector - Michael Lichte, Vice President, Milk Optimization and Customer Relations, Dairy Farmers of America

  • Crop input - Dave Spears, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Mid-Kansas Coop and Board Member, Kansas Ag Retailers Association

  • Crop input - Chris DeMoss, Director of Plant Foods, MFA Inc.

  • Farm equipment - Ben Smith, Production and Precision Agriculture Marketing Operations Manager, John Deere
