The Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City advocates growth and awareness of the food, fiber, agri-science and related industries in the Kansas City region.
Council activities revolve around monthly luncheon meetings typically held at the American Royal. Luncheon speakers are nationally recognized figures who are based in the region. The Council also hosts annual issue forums on trending topics and an annual Awards Luncheon recognizing leading business figures who have been civic champions for agriculture.

Our mission is to enhance greater understanding about this important industry by joining together Kansas and Missouri agricultural organizations, agribusinesses and other key leaders.
Council members include agricultural producers, producer group representatives, agribusiness, communications, legal, financial, education, farm equipment, natural resources, animal health, energy, food processing, crop input, state government agencies, biofuels, software technology, and others with an interest in agriculture.
